Statement of Purpose

Delaware County Aquarium Society is incorporated under the Nonprofit Corporation Law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the following purposes:

To educate the general public in, and promote a better understanding of, all forms of underwater life and their habitat, both natural and artificial
To advance the avocation of the care, culture, keeping and propagation of all forms of underwater life and their habitat, both natural and artificial
To promote the husbandry of all forms of underwater life and their appropriate habitat, both natural and artificial
And further, to engage in ancillary activities, lawful for a not for profit corporation, designed or intended to further its ability to pursue these stated purposes
